Colin Poolman

A registered nurse for over 30 years, Colin has been a key member of the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Scotland team for many years, most recently as Associate Director for Pay, Terms and Conditions. Colin has also worked across the UK and spent time working as an Associate Director in ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Northern Ireland just before the pandemic as well as operationally leading the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý UK Pay Programme supporting the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý’s Fair Pay for Nursing campaign.

Associate Director (Employment Relations)

Norman Provan

Norman has responsibility for ensuring the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý in Scotland has the capacity and capability to provide comprehensive employment relations services including standard representation, regulatory representation and legal advice.

Associate Director (Nursing, Policy & Professional Practice)

Eileen McKenna

Eileen is responsible for leading the professional ‘College’ arm of the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý which includes the learning & development, knowledge & research and policy teams within ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Scotland.

Head of Communications and Public Affairs

Carol Harris

Carol heads up the communications & public affairs team, which comprises parliamentary and media relations and member communications and positions the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý as the voice of nursing for Scotland.

Knowledge & Research Manager

Sian Kiely

Sian manages the knowledge and research team which – as a part of professional practice – is responsible for ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Scotland’s provision of information and analysis, and providing ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý library and information services.

Margaux and Allan lead the learning and development team which – as a part of professional practice – supports our members to improve their person-centred care and trains our reps.
